Secret Surprise Creams

The secret in our "Secret Surprise Creams" is...you guessed it...Cream Cheese!
Ingredients:
1 c. butterscotch wafers
1-8 oz. pkg cream cheese
1-3/4 c. confectioner’s sugar
Dipping chocolate

Instructions:
In the top of a double boiler, melt butterscotch wafers over hot, not boiling water.
Add cream cheese and mix well. Remove from hot water and add confectioners’ sugar, stirring well.
Spread in a buttered pan or on a buttered plate and chill.
Remove from refrigerator; form into 1-inch balls (The center will be quite soft),
dip in chocolate and drop into a small paper candy cup.
Crushed graham crackers, crushed nuts, shredded coconut or a whole nut
may be placed on top of candy while chocolate is still soft.
