HOW TO TELL IF YOUR BUDGIE HAS AN EATING DISORDER

1. He hides treats he's flown to get from the kitchen table, counter,
plates, etc., under his wing and eats them ravenously when no one's
watching.
2. Cookie crumbs appear mysteriously at the bottom of his cage in the
morning.
3. You have to spell out food words, like pizza and chocolate, so he
doesn't understand.
4. You have to write out the food words now since he taught himself the
English-to-Bird translation of food words.
5. When you come home you notice little budgie claw prints in chocolate
on your pantry door.
6. He's made himself a cosy cage bottom of shredded candy wrappers.
7. He's constantly preening his feathers to fluff them up so his plump
little tummy doesn't show as much.
8. Preens his feathers downward to appear like vertical stripes for a
more slimming effect.
