Welcome to the wonderful world of delectable chocolates and candy making!

The idea for this website was conceived after years of making enough home-made chocolates and candies from my mother’s and grandmother’s recipes to fill a candy store and making my whole family (as well as their friends) at least five pounds heavier. Christmas and Easter are the holidays especially to blame, but after you’ve made a few (or many) of these super easy recipes, you’ll definitely want to continue living up to your new title of Chief Candy Maker!

I’ve tried the traditional candy-making methods involving hard-to-find ingredients and specialized equipment such as candy thermometers. Then I tested many easy recipes (with the help of my main taste-tester…my husband; along with friends, family, co-workers, etc. etc. etc!). This is what prompted me to put together a website for those of us with full schedules. Why should you spend your valuable time in the kitchen, carefully timing, watching and worrying over an elaborate candy recipe when you can make a confection just as delicious, and much easier, that will give you more time to spend with your family, friends, hobbies and pastimes? Sure, if you have the time to fuss over the harder, traditional recipes, go to it! But when you’ve tried out some of these delicious concoctions, you just might be convinced!

These are tried, tested and true recipes that I am sure you'll enjoy; whether you tempt your family and friends on a special occasion or give them as gifts, they are sure to please! All the recipes in this website do not need any special equipment, techniques or ingredients, no need for a candy thermometer, no worrying about temperature charts with soft ball or hard crack stages, no hard-to-find ingredients, and no worries about over-cooking. These are super easy candies to make and give as gifts. Your friends and family will be amazed at your candy-making talents!
