This is the follow-up to Louise Latremouille's wonderful book "My Parents First Computer and Internet Guide" (Ed. Note: please read my review of Louise's first book)
In her second book, Louise goes on to explain "how to customize" your computer now that you're a little more computer savvy, by adjusting the display, installing and trouble-shooting a printer, adding and removing programs and general maintenance such as cleaning up your hard drive to free up space.
Louise continues showing you tricks in Microsoft Word and now adds Microsoft Excel with a very easy tutorial on how to get started along with explanations of cells, labels, formulae and sorting your data.
This book continues, where book one had left off, with the internet and how to do your banking on-line, the ever-popular eBay, and chat rooms and instant messaging, among other subjects. All through both of these guides are pages for your hand-written notes and your "bright ideas".
As in book one, Louise continues to explain everything in such a way that a "newbie" will have no problem understanding. This guide is fun and simple to use, easy to follow, and there's no "techno-babble" to worry about.
You'll definitely want both guides for your new computer bookshelf!
